Cleaning the washer

Granted most of the discoloration is probably the bleach, but still, pretty gnarly eh? Note bits of my dog's coat floating on the surface. Ugh. We have a lot of junk in our water, and lately my daughter's clothes have been getting stained. It happens far too often, and usually the way to fix it is cleaning the washer. The recommended way is fill the basin with hot water, and add a quart of bleach. Let the washer agitate for one minute, give or take, then open the lid and let it stand about an hour.

Once that's done, let it run its longest cycle. Then, fill the basin again with hot water and a quart of white vinegar. Repeat the same steps as with the bleach. Hopefully, your washer will be sparkling clean!

So here is a picture of my disgusting washing machine inside.
